Bartley "Bart" Stewart is a problem-solving professional with extensive experience in the defense and space sectors. As Division Chief at Space Systems Command, he leads initiatives that enhance the United States' space capabilities. His prior roles include Integration Engineer, Entropy Manager, and International Affairs Officer, reflecting his versatility in managing complex projects and fostering global collaborations. Bart's expertise in applying complexity theory to enterprise cyber risk and emerging A.I. technologies, coupled with his innovative approach to cybersecurity challenges, culminate in an uncanny ability to uncover the often hidden connections between systems and ideas. Bart promotes community, scalability, and intuition to create positive behaviors and successes within organizations.

Lt Col Melissa McLain is a PhD student at CU Boulder studying Computer and Cognitive Sciences. This is a follow-on assignment from her Institute for Future Conflict Fellowship at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Lt Col McLain leads research to understand the implications of emerging technology on future conflict. Most recently, she developed and implemented USAFA’s Wellness & Independence in the Social Media Era (WISE) education program and established USAFA’s Information Warfare club. Lt Col McLain earned her commission through the United States Air Force Academy in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Factors Engineering. She has supported 9th Bomb Squadron, B-1B operations at Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas. Then Lt Col McLain worked at the Blue Horizons Fellowship at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama. In this position she developed wargames to complement the curriculum and conducted classified research for the fellows. She was then charged by the CSAF with standing up an Emerging Technology Office in Washington, D.C. based upon one of the fellow's approved proposals. She is a graduated Squadron Director of Operations, establishing the 451st Intelligence Squadron, Fort Eisenhower, Augusta, Georgia. Prior to her current position, Lt Col McLain served as the Group Director of Operations, 480 Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, Fort Eisenhower, Augusta, Georgia. In this role she ensured mission execution of 24/7 signals intelligence missions spanning the globe and designed the HAF approved Air Force Cryptologic Strategy.
